Low Voltage OTFT thanks to High-k Terpolymers

P(VDF-TrFE-CTFE) and P(VDF-TrFE-CFE), Piezotech^® RT terpolymers and associated ink ranges, offer unique opportunities for the fast growing printed electronics market. Due to its high dielectric constant (k up to 60), they provide solutions for the design of Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFT). The high-k gate dielectric layer allows for lower driving voltages and reduced leakage current. The ability to process these materials from inks at low temperature allows for the use of low-cost conventional printing technologies.
